Wildcats Coach Happy With 2001 Season
Even thought the Wildcats were knocked out of the finals by Gunnedah it was a successful season in 2001.
With a wealth of new players such as Ric Fry,Adam Taylor and the rebirth of veterans Murray Tindal and Peter Lonergan, the Wildcats future is looking pretty good.
While the cats didnt roar next year they might take some taming.

Brewers Want Back To Back Titles
The Brewers would like to be the first team to win back to back titles in 2002. After being the outstanding team of 2001, one wonders how anyone will stop them next year.
How far would they have won the minor premiership if they didnt forfiet twice earlier in the year and only losing 3 games for the season.
They out scored their opposing teams by a massive 60 runs during the season.
By far the strongest Narrabri team and with the professional leadership by Anthony Mureau they were the undisputed champions of 2001.

  Braves Just Not Good Enough
The 2001 season was just not our year. Our new players performed exceptionally well but we didnt perform consistantly enough to be in the finals.
Maybe in 2002 our players will bond as a team and be a force to have a crack at the title.
