Who Are The Razorbacks
The Razorbacks are players selected to represent North West Baseball Inc at representative level. All the players from all clubs from Narrabri,Gunnedah,Wee Waa, Moree and surrounding areas are eligiable to make the Team.In all 4 years competing at the NSW country championships we have been more than competitive. The highlight was being runners-up at Coffs Harbour against Newcastle in the B Division in 1999.Not too bad considering we choose our players from about 40 that year and most other associations have that many players in one club and have several clubs as well.
Other Memoriable moments for the Razorbacks were two runners-ups in a row to St George and ACT at the Parkes Carnivals .And missing the final of the HUGE Tamworth June carnival B Division by runs for and against.

The History of North West Baseball Inc.
After winning the club championship , B Grade and C Grade in the Tamworth Baseball competition , and talk of going to Sunday baseball the Gunnedah Baseball club decided to try and run its own Comp. With 3 players from Narrabri playing with Gunnedah in the Tamworth Comp it was decided to add teams from Narrabri as well . So with 2 sides from Gunnedah and the re-birth of 2 sides from Narrabri North West Baseball was born .Narrabri hadnt seen baseball in 9 or 10 years so it was all set for a small but great season .
A special thanks must go to Ian Lewis (President of NSW Country at the time) for assisting us in becoming affiliated with Country NSW in 1997. His attitude was great to see them let such a little association as North West join all the bigger associations and have our say and play in the country championships.
Warren Williams who took time out to attend our presentation night and take an interest in one of their little affilates .Our members appreciated his efforts
Paul Farthers Country Baseball Development Officer who worked so hard with our schools in the region with the assistance of Gary Everson from Baseball NSW. All the kids that took part had a great time and the schools are still running hit pitch run in their programs.
And last and by no way least Chris White the admin officer of NSW Country who has helped us so often and without a complaint , we thank you Chris very much .
